Edward Domain Obama's $100 Million Budget cut...in pennies!

Whether or not you approve of Obama's job so far.... this video is a REALLY good way of demonstrating things so us "regular folks" can understand it. Continue

Edward Domain The Obama Stimulus Plan....told by a guy with LOTS of Pennies!

I HAD to re-post this here....I saw this video and, well, lets just say I am not shocked. Nor am I a fan of the government stimulus plan. Continue

Edward Domain Regrouping and Planning for the Future of TroopSpace

Josh has already done a good job on his blog talking about some of the challenges we've had growing TroopSpace and making it into what we want. For me, it has also been an interesting journey and a major learning experience. I've learned a lot of people make promises but don't follow up on them for one. I won't be so trusting next in future business dealings that much I am sure of. So now, I have been interviewing for… Continue

Edward Domain TroopSpace.net at the grand old age of.... ONE!!! Go Military Social Network go!!

We made it through a whole Year!!!!!

Wow...... what can I say? I am amazed that TroopSpace is still here and growing! I really had no idea how this was going to go when I launched the site-- I do distinctly remember thinking how awesome it would be if we got 50 members.... and we beat that by a good clip :) What am I most thankful for? That so many people across the country (and world) care enough about our men and women in uniform to show their… Continue

Edward Domain Movie Review of "The World Without Us"

The World Without Us

While I was at the G.I. Film Festival in Washington D.C., I had the opportunity to meet Mitch Anderson, creator of the documentary film, "The World Without Us". The film (see trailer below) follows the fictional presidential campaign of a candidate named Turner, who vows when elected to bring home the entire U.S. Military from every country it is deployed to. As Turner says in the film, The United States spends countless sum… Continue

Josh Lowe Oh the daily grind.

well, it seems i'm back to my normal routine of working in my "home base" office again. at least for this week. i have been working an hour from home everyday for the last 8 weeks. so i have to apologize to everyone on TS for not being more active! by the time i get home, i have about 1 hour to spend with logan before he goes to bed. then an hour or so with the wife and she's off to bed. then i try to stay awake myself but usually only works for an hour then in bed by 10 or 11. the commute is ki… Continue

Edward Domain The G.I. Film Festival

I am still trying to process everything that I encountered and experienced last week in Washington D.C. It was an incredible experience- I met some great people out there, and everyone was pro-military. Living in San Francisco, sometimes its easy to forget that there really are people that are patriotic and give a damn about our country, our military, and the world at large. I think the main problem is with journalists---- An overwhelming amount of universities and colleges in America teach th… Continue

Edward Domain TroopSpace and My Presence here

Boy--- things are blowing up fast! TroopSpace has been a dream of mine for awhile, and when I brought in Josh and we got this baby of ours going, I never imagined we would average 50 new members a month! I am so happy that the site has been received so well and that I am making some great friends here-- too many to list. Marisol has been a Godsend as an admin, and so many others of our active members really make a difference here. Now that we are getting traction though, my main frustration… Continue
