At 2:28am on November 12, 2009, Ian Stares said…: Thanks Sydney for the lovely poster gift on my page. I did my honors on the bugle 5 times at our local veterans hospital. Being escorted by one of the staff to the various sections to cover the hole hospital. They had some other volunteers performing small services to keep the patience amused till I could get there.
I played the "Last Post", minutes silence, the Oud & Revillie at each one. Then gave each one a personal hand shake while my escort introduced each one & what service they did. Started at 10.50hrs to 11.25hrs. Quite hectic but they all deserved it.
Had a friend bugling at another Veterans home & he conducted twice

TroopSpace is, and always will be, free. I got a lot out of my time in the Army, and this is my way of giving back. I am dedicated to growing TroopSpace into a world class communication tool for our military and everyone that supports them.

In the near future, we are hoping to add video chat and a host of other features.

If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to reach out to myself or anyone here on the site- everyone is great and we think of ourselves as an extension of the military family. You'll probably meet Marisol soon who is an admin here, as well as Ian and Alex. They are great too!
