Hi people!

Hi everyone. I am Katie.
I am kinda dating this guy Josh. By kinda I mean we haven't ACTUALLY gone out cause he's in virginia and I am... Well not there. So we will be dating when he ends active duty which is sometime in mid may if he figured out his days for terminal leave correctly. I am a 22 year old dork (but I am on my way to being a geek. the transformation is not a fast one)
mind you I am typing all the HTML tags myself... so I am probably a bigger geek than I know.
I have three laptops right now. none of them are in working condition. so that sucks. cause my poetry is kinda on the one that utterly hates me and refuses to turn on no matter what I do.

I don't wear makeup much... but I have been trying lately. I like Mascara and sometimes lipstick. but I lick it off anyways.

Music. put it on and I will enjoy it, as long as it isn't one big beep of radio editing.

Drinking habits
The most important fact about me is I like either that shot with the gold flecks or whiskey. I don't do many froofy drinks, but Long Islands and sangrias are totally amazing drinks.
I can pick up a shot glass with my mouth, but if forced to put it down I end up laughing or doing something painful
I had a boiler maker once. I ended up with a bloody lip cause I didn't drink it fast enough according to my friends


I am a CS major.
I love computers, but I still have issues with them right now. (see above comment about my laptops)

my main reason for being here is to make a lot of friends

and if you need a pep talk, or some form of advice; I am here
I may be young (a mere 22) but I am wise(or so I like to think)... I have made TONS of mistakes (and have TONS of scars to prove just a few of the many mistakes)
for instance... always pay attention when using a utility knife... they CAN cut to the bone on your finger. and it WILL take forever to heal. anyone can see this scar and it will mess up my wedding photos
And, don't hang off the back of a moving trailer, even if its being pulled by a lawnmower. I would like to say I was young and dumb but I was like 18

but back to important stuff. If I can't answer your question, I will use my super-ninja trained pirate-networking skills and find an answer for you. and I'm good at pep talks.
yes, I did say ninja trained pirate. as in a pirate trained in the ways of a ninja

I will ramble though. I apologize for that. and I apologize for that a lot too.

OH and I have unlimited text, so add me to any messenger and if there is a cell phone by it... text away. I love making new friends. but I must warn you, I am kinda odd so be ready for a convo that jumps around

and I randomly sing songs. I love music. even though I tend to stink at singing songs that aren't in Gaelic or Irish! I dance to songs... and look absolutely HYSTERICAL doing so.

above my ribbon tattoo, I have Stand. It has so many meanings, which are all in the song "Stand" by Rascal Flatts "wipe your hands shake it off then you stand"; it also means "Stand on the truth" which leads to my next tattoo...
"Veritas" is written under the ribbon. thats the truth part of stand on the truth as well as the whole "the truth hurts" (cause it hurt like all sorts of hell when I got it) and a pledge that before trusting someone is telling the truth I should check my facts so I am not a liar without knowing it. also it means the truth about cancer.
I got two tattoos that are a three-way tattoo (meaning three people have it) one is a celtic knot that I designed that my sister, my Mom and I all got. its a variation on the typical trinity knot (no, not like three of us = trinity, the real meaning of Father son and Holy Ghost)
the other one I share is called the fingerprint of God (a fingerprint with a cross out of it) for the Christian song of the same name.

My next tattoos (when I get the money/in the right time frame):
On my ribs I am getting the words "In nomine Patris et fillii et Spiritus Sancti" in an inverse style (so the words won't be filled in but an area around it will be) probably in black or brown or deep green
On my hip (when I loose weight and get married) I will be getting a three strand knot with pink blue and white (for the whole me, my hubby, and God thing)
When I have kids I will put their names under my cross on my shoulder
For a graduation gift my sister is buying me an anklet that is a style of a circuit board.
I am also going to design a really awesome Celtic knot that goes from my left hip to my right shoulder once I get in shape... thats going to be a few session tattoo.
