My friends brother is a corporal, soon to be Sergeant, in the United States Marine Corp. He recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq. It's been one of the most difficult things their family has ever been through, and we thank God everyday for his safe return and others Of course. I wrote a poem for him to show him and others how much we are glad he is home, and I wanted to share it with everyone.

I just want to let everyone on Troopspace know what an inspiration experience
I had the other night at work.

It was Wednesday Night, which I had to work by myself, I had the pleasure of taking care of
his wonderful and the mother of two great sons who are right know serving our country.
She was a woman who had great pride and was a very private person who found it very

I have been working longs hours lately and just realized were have I lost time with my kids.
As a single parent at times it can be difficult. Even when I was not single it still seemed difficult.

I just finally hit me that my oldest child will be away at collge and moved out in her new apartment
before Christmas with friends and my son, next year after graduation he will be deciding were to
go to serve his country. Have I lost that much time to just realize how worried I am gong to be.
