Honestly, basic was a joke for me. Physically, once you get used to having the dogsh*t run out of you, you'll be fine. I'd suggest working up to being able to do 60 and 60 prior to heading off to relaxin' Jackson. That is, be able to do 60 correct...

I hope I heard you right but did your friend say that the CG DOES NOT GO OUT MORE THAN TEN MILES ON SOME SHIPS...

The medium to high endurance cutters, they travel thousand and thousands of miles.

As for the smaller ones, some do only 2 week patrols and so they are out for hundreds of miles, depending on the time and their particular destinations. But my sweetheart, his cutter which is a medium endurance cutter, which is out any where from a month to two months, he travels all the way up to Canada, or his southern patrols will take him to South America!

It is amazing how far out they go at one time.
