Both my ex husband and my husband now have served in the Army during the Vietnam War. My ex was drafted and was one of the lucky ones who spent his time in Germany. My husband enlisted and did 4 tours in Nam. He was a medivac chopper pilot - First Cav.

For all those in the service past and present - THANK YOU. Without all of you our country as we know it would not be. God Bless each and every one of you.

I come from a family of Air force members but all of us have served our time and out now. I spent the 68-69 year in Danang, Viet Nam and you know what I would do it again. I felt proud the minute I put that uniform on and still to this day am proud to have served. Now at my age I cannot serve again so my intentions are to serve those who are in service now. Any military peopel out there contact me and I will see what I can do to get packages sent your way. It's the least I can do for our hero's. Also thanks for setting up this group.

I don't know how I missed this group. I just saved my grandpa's sand from the flood. (we collected sand from the beach he landed on in WWII. it was pretty cool to see him there again, like he was 18; and I hope to help out anyone that needs to talk!

I come from a family of veterans, not to mention my many friends that have served. I belong to a motorcycle veteran support group called The Wall Gang, we make the annual trip to Washington D.C. every memorial day to show support and honor to all fallen heroes and to keep the P.O.W./M.I.A. issue alive. We work year long supporting vets in our area with food, clothing and any assistance we can provide. I'm glad I found this site.
