Need your Illinois VA stories for news article

Greetings, all. I write for a large paper based in Springfield, IL, and am working on a story about Springfield and Illinois VA health facilities. I want to talk to as many people as possible with experiences at these places. Please send me messages, and spread the word if you know of people with compelling stories in Illinois.

I want to examine what works, what's broken, and how we can improve the system.

I haven't had long waiting times for appointments and my primary care doctor has been giving me a good going over. We are dealing with several health issues and she has left no stone unturned to find the cause of my problems. The treatment and test that I have received so far would have cost me in the thousand of dollars. So I can honestly say I am very happy with the Service I get from the VA in North Chicago, Illinois and the outpatient clinic in Evanston, Illinois.; ▶ Reply to This
