I was wondering?

When my son first joined the Army...they sent home a card with a website on it to check about graduation. My sons graduation isn't until September 10. Why would the MP not give a basic training graduation? I don't understand. I figured that we would be going to a basic training graduation in July sometime. Can anyone shed some light on this for me. Thanks!
